Batman & Robin is the WORST movie I think I have ever seen!! It disappointed me so much, I just had to
put something here on my page!!
Batman & Robin is the fourth movie of the Batman franchise films, from the wonderfully creative minds at
Warner Brothers. I believe the people at Warner Brothers knew how bad it was .......... they wouldn't even
let the film critics watch it before the opening weekend!
There is only one reason it was made ..................................... $$$$$$$!!!!
One of the biggest flaws of the movie is that they have way too many characters that they are trying to
develop: (although they did manage to pull off a half decent job on Batman Forever, which I thought
was going to be really bad too, because of the overload of characters)
Batman the main character of the film (the story should revolve around him for the most part).
(Although George Clooney did do one good thing about Batman's character.......he wanted
Batman to stop whining over his dead parents.....it was 35 years later after all!)
Robin, who should be the only other central character (if they really needed another) besides
Batman and the villain. Robin has his own personal conflicts with Bruce Wayne / Batman and
love interests in the Batgirl.
AND now in the new film they have focused a little more on Alfred, who is dying (and betrays
Batman / Bruce Wayne, by tampering with the Bat Computer [a flashback to the days of
Max Headroom], and by allowing Alicia Silverstone access to the Bat Cave to become Batgirl).
Alicia Silverstone who they are trying to develop as both Alfred's "bad-ass / pretending to be
sweet" niece and her new alter ego, Batgirl.
And then you have the whole crew new villains:
Mr. Freeze, who's trying to find a cure for his dying wife (and what a retarded scene it was when
they showed how he became Mr. Freeze!)
Poison Ivy, who's trying to return the world to a "Garden of Eden" like state.
and last they have Bane, the world's dumbest (and "Most Inflatable") villain! He serves no
purpose other than to bash through some walls and mumble one-word lines! (like "Booooomb!")
As you can see the film has way too many characters to try and support in any great way. Both Bane and
Batgirl (sorry Alicia) could be eliminated. They serve no real purpose and needlessly clutter the story. Even
Poison Ivy could be removed. The main story could have revolved around Mr. Freeze trying to find the cure for
his wife's disease and along the way Batman realizes he needs the cure as well. And in doing so it causes a
dilemma as to whether to stop Mr. Freeze or to help him (and also saving Alfred).
The script had nothing redeemable in it! Even the "one-liners" in Batman & Robin were crappy! The best one
(which was already seen on TV), was when Robin was whining and complaining about wanting his own bat-car,
and Batman says: "This is why Superman works alone!".
The only other part of the movie that was slightly interesting, was a part that took up less than one second.
When Mr. Freeze was locked up in the Arkham Asylum they did a quick shot of the Properties Room and
you could see The Riddler's outfit hanging there.
One good note that I would like to make is the fact that considering the crappy quality of the rest of the movie,
George Clooney put in a good performance as Bruce Wayne / Batman (although I still haven't been able to look
at him the same since his amazing, yet disturbing performance as Seth Gecko, in the film
"From Dusk Till Dawn").

If you don't trust the opinion of an ancient Jedi Master .....
Just ask renowned film critic, Jay Sherman!!
This DUMB movie should never have been made!!!!

The best part of the movie!!!
